Building an Exclusionary List Using Company Screener

A guide that will allow the user to screen based on specific values or metrics to build an exclusionary list to make recommendations on companies that best fit their positions.

1. Starting on the YourStake Home tab, select the Company Screener tab on the left of the site.
2. At the top left of the site page, there is a folder icon underneath the title “Filter Screens”.

3. There are general screens created based off the YourStake persona value sets, or the user can search for a custom-created screen in the search bar that can be found below “Name”. To add a screener, the user will select “Open” to the right of the chosen screen.

4. The pre-set “universe” that the system selects is the S&P 500, but this starting benchmark can be changed using the edit icon below the listed universe in the top right of the Company Screener page (Note: There is an option to download in all universes - see step 6).

5. The universe can be selected by choosing a specific client portfolio or by switching tabs at the top, the user can select the universe based off a specific fund.

6. To download the selected screens, hover over the “Download” button for options to download the companies that are flagged, the flagged companies with individual percentages based on the selected screen, or to download the screen across all universes.
