This guide helps how to create and show a side-by-side comparison of a prospect portfolio and proposed portfolio
First, the prospect's portfolio needs to be created/uploaded (either manual entry- ticker, by ticker or by Uploading a CSV)Easiest to start from the Prospect (as their Values will already be populated)

Select the Proposed portfolio from the appropriate client:
This will take you to the Reports page...
Select the prospect's portfolio (that has already been uploaded) from the Comparison drop-down
(Report will show the Proposed portfolio as compared to the prospect's portfolio; i.e. the Prospect portfolio is the benchmark)
Select the Report type of Impact Comparison Absolute to see how the 2 portfolios stack up against each other
Portfolio Comparison Tutorial
Hello in this tutorial, we are going to look at a portfolio that I have put together as a proposal to a new prospect against their current holdings. So from the prospect's page I am going to select the proposed portfolio. Going into the reports t heir values have mapped over, along with that proposed portfolio.
Just taking a quick look here you can see some of the, impact report and the various metrics that are displaying; but what I want to compare this to, rather than the benchmark, is their current holdings. So I'm going to grab the portfolio that my prospect currently owns and I'm going to look at a comparison view.
I can show the prospect how my proposed portfolio and their current portfolio stackup.
On here, you can see the metrics that are displayed and if you wanted to change these, you certainly could.
But from here, you can look at the comparison relative report to draw contrast between these two portfolios as well. So showing my prospect where my proposed portfolio is more closely aligned with their values than their current portfolio.
You can also look at a metaphor style of report which is showing again, my proposed portfolio against their current portfolio. 19 fewer asthma attacks if they owned this portfolio that I'm proposing. And of course, many other metrics down here. From here, you can download this in to a PDF to provide to the prospect.
But it is a great way to start an in-depth conversation with your new prospect about aligning their investments closer to their values and hopefully to win their business. Hopefully, this was helpful. Thanks.
